FAQ
Q) Can this system work for other retirement accounts?
A) If you have a retirement account, we can manage it--call (937-434-1790) or email us
(twild@The401kHelpCompany.com) for details.
Q) Why Pay for Advice?
A) In 1982 67% of American workers were covered by a Defined Benefits Pension Plan. Today only 11% have
such a plan. 401k's have become the "Pension plan of choice" for most companies.
For millions of workers the responsibility of funding their retirement is something that they have not been
prepared to take on, and many people have given up.
Yes, they may be contributing to a 401k but their allocations haven't changed in years. Or, they are so
conservative in their allocations (with the attitude of "at least it doesn't lose money") that they will not
accumulate what they really need.
A Registered Investment Advisor (RIA ) takes the guess work out of 401k investing. For a company
sponsored plan, an employee can have personal management for only $25 per month, and we do all the
work. There really are no excuses anymore.
Now is the time to take charge of your financial future. Our professionals stand ready to help you reach
your retirement goals.
Q) Doesn't my investment representative or fund company manage my money for me
already?
A) NO! This is a common misconception. When you signed up with them, you told the fund company what
percentage to invest and where, but they don't move you out of one style into a better style based on changing
market conditions.
Private personal investment management is not a service offered by most investment salesmen either. Most
brokerage firms will not allow their salesmen to offer specific advice because that would mean they were acting as
a fiduciary, and the brokerage firm do not want the "liability" of bad advice from their sales people. A fiduciary is
bound to put the investors interest ahead of their own and if the sales person was acting as a fiduciary you might
have a completely different 401(k) plan.
Q) I've heard that just buying and holding an index fund is better than trying to "beat the
market"
A) We feel that is a recipe for disaster. While that might sound like a good idea, would you really have "held" the
S&P 500 index from 2000 through 2002? That index was down 9.18%, 11.91%, and 22.10% respectively over
those 3 years. That strategy would have turned $100,000 into $62,322. If you still held true to that "strategy" it
would have taken you into 2006 just to get back to $100,000. That's 7 years of no or little growth. Our clients can
not afford that. An investor in the NASDAQ would still only have about 1/2 of their highest 2000 investment
amount.
Q) What happens to your models when a market correction occurs?
A) Our models are watched every day and evaluated every 30 days. If a correction is happening, it will happen
over a period of time and our models will reflect the best performing styles at that time. Sudden one or two day
crashes are not predictable and even the best prognosticators can't see them coming with any degree of certainty.
Unlike some "advisors" we don't pretend to have a crystal ball.
Q) Your fees for individual management seems high, $795 is a lot of money to me?
A) Actually, our fee is less than the industry norm, 1.5% - 2.0% of assets managed. Our fee is very competitive,
especially for those clients who have higher account balances..
Q) I like the way you have managed my 401(k). Can you handle my other investment
money?
A) Yes, please contact twild@401Advisor.com. 401 Advisor,LLC specializes in rollover investing.
Q) Can I share this information with my co-worker or friends for one fee?
A) If your company is subscribing to this service, the information is available to all employees. An individual
subscriber may NOT share the information.
1) You must complete a signed agreement with terms and conditions stating that you will not share this
information.
2) Mutual Fund Families do not like to see trading in their funds. Although our system is designed to stay well
within the mutual fund trading restrictions, fund families still may restrict trading by adding minimum holding
periods for 30, 60, or even 90 days. To minimize the possibility of this happening we strictly monitor our system.
By having individuals trade without subscription you may jeopardize the ability of paying subscribers to effectively
use our system. *We will enforce our subscriber agreement!
3) If you provide your friend or co-workers with investment advice - YOU become the "Fiduciary Advisor" and accept
legal responsibility for our recommendations.
